Cleveland Metroparks



This extensive system, known as the "Emerald Necklace," encompasses 18 reservations spanning over 25,000 acres with 325+ miles of trails, offering a variety of activities like hiking, biking, paddling, and more.


Cuyahoga Valley National Park



Ohio's only national park, this area features diverse landscapes, including the Cuyahoga River, waterfalls, and historic sites, with opportunities for hiking, biking, and exploring the Buckeye Trail.


Lake County Metroparks



With lake and river access, including two state-designated "wild and scenic" rivers, this system is a haven for paddlers and anglers, with family-friendly features.


Lorain County Metro Parks



Features wetlands, birding areas, and a popular bike-and-hike trail along the Black River, along with golf courses and splash parks.


Medina Metroparks



Over 22 parks and nature preserves throughout Medina County. From wetlands and playgrounds to lakes and forests, there is something for everyone.


Geauga Park District

Summit Metro Parks



Managing over 16,000 acres with 16 parks, two nature centers, and over 150 miles of trails, this park system offers a variety of outdoor activities and programs.


Buckeye Trail



Cleveland Metroparks trails connect regionally to the Buckeye Trail, a trail circumnavigating Ohio for 1,444 miles.


Portage Park District



Over 2,000 acres of parkland, including five open parks, a boat access on the Cuyahoga River, and 14 miles of hike and bike trails across the county.
